*Murder Inc, having dropped Lloyd's album this week, is tracking the numbers closely as they are neck and neck to take the number one position in album sales. Back in New Ro, Irv, Deb & the kids go to Sonny's big football game. He wants them to learn to live their life much in the same way he is dealing w/ his artist Lloyd's album release -- always try your best, always go for # 1, if you don't make it at least you gave it your best. *Courtesy of VH1
Keeping track of Lloyd's album, hoping it goes #1 in the first week of sales, receiving competition from Musiq Soulchild & Rich Boy. Irv, Irv Sr., Deb & the kids attend Sonny's playoff football game. Then we get a look at Sonny's football skills by letting the running back run past him missing the tackle. Irv later tells Sonny to man up and stop crying, after losing the game. Deb says that she doesn't like it when Irv tells the boys (Sonny and JJ) to man up. So decides to tell Irv that he is too hard on them and wants him to talk to them. Playing basketball with Sonny and JJ and being a little tough, by Sonny's standards to him, he gets upset and leaves after not being able to make a long distance shot and Irv shouting "Man Up", as he left! So Irv decides he'll talk to his boys after he comes back from L.A.
Hanging out in L.A., Irv talks about the "50 Cent & Irv Gotti Stare Down @ Universal's Party", that didn't happen. Then he heads out to the "Get It Shawty" video shoot, which gives Lloyd a chance at being #1.
Back in New Ro, Deb talks about how Irv is missing out on some parts of the kids lives and not seeing the true them. Irv has a photo shoot in N.Y. for KING Magezine and talks more about Lloyd's sales with Datwon saying he wanted to make a statement, that he's back after being indicted by the feds and he wants Murder Inc. to evolve and become something like Interscope and he mentioned in 5-10 years be the biggest label in the world.
Irv later talks to his boys about why he's the way he is to them. He just wants them to be better than him, be the best and have a thick skin. And says he won't change and that's ok with his boys, they still love him.
