 DJ Dee Radio - November 21, 2007
Tonight was the best broadcast I've had and it comes on a night when I was only able to bring in 4 (unique) listeners, not all at once either. The good thing about that is maybe those listeners will come back more often and spread the word too. I also played longer because of the slow night. It may have something to do with Thanksgiving!?!

West's Surgeon Walks Off 'Larry King'

West's Surgeon Walks Off 'Larry King'
*A plastic surgeon who operated on Kanye West's mother the day before she died abruptly walked off CNN's "Larry King Live" during a scheduled interview Tuesday with the talk show host.

Dr. Jan Adams said he initially agreed to speak with King to clear up what he said were inaccurate reports about him in the news media. But he said West's family asked him not to appear on the show.

"I have a tremendous amount of love and respect for the West family and they have asked me not to go on," he said. "And I've said from the very beginning, I don't have a side in this. They are my side and so I'm going to respect their wishes."

As Adams got up from his chair to shake King's hand, the TV host asked whether the surgeon would ever answer questions surrounding Donda West's death.

"When they're comfortable, then I'll be comfortable. If they're never comfortable, then I'll never be comfortable," Adams said, referring to West's family. "They are what's important to me. I said that from the start and that's what I'll continue to honor."

His brief television appearance came several hours after a funeral service for Donda West in Spencer, a suburb of Oklahoma City.

West, 58, died at a Los Angeles-area hospital on Nov. 10, a day after she underwent breast reduction, tummy tuck and liposuction procedures. She may have died of a heart attack, pulmonary embolism or accidental overdose of painkillers prescribed after the procedures, Adams told the Los Angeles Times for a story posted online Monday night.

Adams said he suspected one theory but wouldn't elaborate until the coroner issues an official cause of death. "I believe I know exactly what happened to her, but I will not comment on it until I see the final report," he told the newspaper.

The coroner has said early indications suggest West died from surgical complications. An official cause of death won't be determined for weeks, pending the results of toxicology and other tests.

Adams said he prescribed West Vicodin after the surgery. *Courtesy of Mail.com

Jamie Foxx Presents The Foxxhole

Jamie Foxx Presents The Foxxhole
If you haven't heard this show, it's the best in entertainment period. Jamie Foxx is, simply, funny as hell. With his comrades on the show, they'll keep you entertained for the full hour and a half and wanting more. Remember it's Sirius Satellite Radio, so it's hardcore at times but still entertaining. It's like the black version of The Howard Stern Show, also on Sirius.

I Love New York 2; Episode 6: Nip/Suck

I Love New York 2; Episode 6: Nip/Suck
*New York surprises the guys with the return of one man. Another man is unhappy as his world is suddenly turned upside down and he literally fears for his life. Later, the guys compete in a cooking challenge run by season 1 favorite, "Mr. Boston" and New York must endure tasting the boys' cooking. New York also gets a guest spot on the show "Nip/Tuck," and she takes one of the boys along to keep her company. But will she remember her lines? And will her date embarrass her? Finally, one of the remaining six suitors must be let go. *Courtesy of VH1

The show starts from the last elimination and as expected New York brings Buddha back. She then has the guys sign their names on a form that states they are ready and willing to bring Buddha back. They all sign, but Tailor Made takes a moment to decide, standing in his position, thinking about the last time Buddha was in the house. He eventually signs his name and tells New York, he's only doing it for her. New York then asks Buddha if he has love for her, he says yes and she puts the chain on his neck.

The next day the guys receive a challenge from New York to see how well they can combine their flavor with hers by making a dish. Whoever impresses New York the most with their dish, wins a date with her. They then head out to Epicurean Inc. to check out their culinary skills and New York brings out Mr. Boston, using him to help the guys out. He tells the guys that New York's favorite ingredient, ranch dressing, should be used in their dish. Tailor Made makes a salmon salad. Mr. Wise makes hot dogs, french fries with ketchup and mustard. The Entertainer makes Pen I Alavacca. Pretty makes a cheese cake. Buddha makes a chicken dish, El Pollo de New York.

New York and Sis. Patterson return to taste what the guys have cooked for them. New York says that Sis. Patterson will pick and whoever she likes will go out tonight with her and whoever dish she,New York, likes will go out with her tomorrow. New York picks Wolf's dish as the dish to die for and Sis. Patterson picks Buddha's dish and he gets the date tonight.

Back at the house Buddha gets time alone with New York and she's telling him how much she's digging him and the question comes up, if she can handle him in the bed. They kiss and New York tells him that he tastes like Valentine's Day chocolate. After the date she goes around and checks on the guys and while talking to Tailor Made, Punk comes up and New York just jumps in his arms.

The next day Wolf and New York go out to the set of "Nip/Tuck". While hanging out chatting in the trailer they fall asleep for several minutes. Wolf passes gas awakening New York and spoiling the moment. They head back to the set and New York does her scenes in the show and does a good job.

They return to the house and Punk gets time alone to talk to New York, opening up himself to her and is interrupted by Buddha as he comes by grabbing her from him. In the house Pretty picks New York up and runs upstairs with her kissing her in front of her bedroom door. Tailor Made then gets a chance to give her the gift he got for her, a black negligee dress.

Elimination

At elimination New York comes out in the dress Tailor Made got for her and then gives the guys their chains in the order of who she feels is making the most effort for her heart.

1 - Tailor Made
2 - Buddha
3 - Punk
4 - The Entertainer
5 - Pretty
6 - Wolf Mr. Wise
She feels as though Wolf couldn't adapt to life in Hollywood

Gotti's Way - Get Your Hustle On

Gotti's Way - Get Your Hustle On
ATTENTION: PHOTO LINKS PENDING

*The perks of working in the music business distract Irv as he goes clubbing and hitting on women instead of directing his efforts into finding a single for Ja. These same perks are what destroyed his relationships w/ his wife Deb. Meanwhile, Deb discusses her relationship with her girlfriends, which leads her to confront Irv on their current situation. She thinks relationships take work and compromise, Irv just doesn't think they work at all -- especially for someone working in the music industry. *Courtesy of VH1

Irv hangs ot at a club and befriends a P.Y.T. named Jessica, 21, asking her if he could be someone she could f*** with, she says yes. At Calle Ocho, Deb and some of her girlfriends, who happen to be ex-wifes of men in the music industry, have gotten together and are talking about kids, relationships and life and the question arises if Deb would date someone in the industry and Deb says she wouldn't even consider it, saying it causes problems with the schedule and temptation of being with other women. She feels that Irv didn't respect their relationship because of the business.

The next day
at Murder Inc. Offices, Irv hears a video playing on Youtube and sees Ja Rule in a scene in it and feels that it isn't a good look for him. He starts to discuss, with guys of his label, what they should do and finds out that with him not being around much, is the reason why Ja put the video out.

L
ater on in New Ro, Deb and Irv talk about relationships. Deb tells Irv that he's the way he is because of the business he's in. Deb feels that the man has to be a strong person and Irv says that you can't put it all on the man and it's a 50/50 venture. He says he hears what she's saying, but making it work doesn't equate to "are they happy". Irv says that he's living his life for Sonny, JJ and Angie and f*** everyone else. Deb says that the life that he's living isn't being a good example for them. She feels that the kids haven't seen what a real relationship should be like and fearing that they will grow up the same way and Angie living the way she is.

Irv heads to hi
s parents house thinking about how things would be if he did the right thing. He says that his parents gave him an idea of what a relationship is supposed to be like, but the business has tarnished those images. Irv feels he couldn't go back to Deb knowing he night cheat and that things are very good between them right now being a part from her. His mom says that it just might work for him.

Back in the office
B.J., the general manager of Murder Inc., wants to know what they're going to do with Ja. He feels that Irv needs to be in the studio with Ja to make a hit. He adds, it's been a year and nothing has popped yet and that they should be sleeping in the studio trying to make that hit. Later on at Murder Inc. Studios and staying all night, Irv and Ja, find a beat that may be a smash.

At Deb's hous
e, later that day, Irv and Deb talk about relationships and Irv says that if he was working a regular 9-5, maybe they could've got over the hump and things could've worked. Deb does feel that it's a lot of temptation in the music business, but that you have to work. She also feels that Irv uses his career as an excuse. Irv later admits that he'll man up and accept the day when she does find someone, saying he'd be happy, if she's happy and hopefully she can prove him wrong.

Updated: 11.14.07 - The Salt-N-Pepa Show: Episode 5 - Pep In Charge

Updated: 11.14.07 - The Salt-N-Pepa Show: Episode 5 - Pep In Charge
*Salt-N-Pepa have been invited to shoot a Public Service Announcement by LIFEbeat. When they ask the ladies to put on a concert to launch the new PSA, Pepa accepts without checking Salt's busy schedule. Pepa takes on the responsibility of planning the entire performance and sets out to choreograph a sexy routine, figure out the technical requirements for the stage, and find the right props (including a six foot condom) to make this a great event. But when Salt arrives at their rehearsal... things aren't exactly what she was expecting. *Courtesy of VH1

While doing a promo for Lifebeat, for awareness on AIDS, Salt-N-Pepa get an offer to perform at an event. Pepa happily accepts and Salt takes issue with it and Pepa says she'll take care of getting things together.

While at
a meeting the next day, Pepa is unprepared to talk business, grabbing a crayon to take notes. She wants to have pyrotechnics and a big condom for the performance. Pepa then heads to Babeland, a sex store, to look for a giant condom and they don't seem to have it. She also heads out to get clothes for their performance.

Sa
lt is at the venue waiting for Pepa and she shows up ready to show Salt what she got for the performance. They go into the bathroom and there Pepa shows her shiny dresses that Salt feels are too short. They head back out to the stage area and the dancers are there and are fully clothed and Salt asks if that's what they're going to be wearing tonight. They say no and Salt wants to see what they'll be wearing tonight. They take off what they have on and reveal jean shorts that are really short, bikini and tank tops. Salt just laughs and says she's concerned about their outfits because it's a Public Service Announcement song. The ladies then dance and Salt thinks it's too much with the leg kicking and booty smacking that the ladies do.

Salt-N-Pe
pa talk and Salt tells Pepa that she's proud of what she's arranged, but the band doesn't know the song, the stage is too small, too many people on the stage and the outfits are outrageous. Salt then feels that they have to strike the band, put clothes on the girls and change the dance, because it's a little bit racy. Pepa tries to plead her case and Salt begs her and tells her that they'll work it out and put the show together.

Later on in t
he evening the venue starts to fill and the ladies seem to have taken care of everything, while they're backstage getting their make-up done. They perform and put on another excellent show.

Run's House (Season 4) | Ep. 5 | Rapper's Retreat | Run and Jo Jo head to Mohegan Sun.

Run's House (Season 4) | Ep. 5 | Rapper's Retreat | Run and Jo Jo head to Mohegan Sun.
*Run tries to get some bonding time in with Jo Jo by taking him for a weekend at Mohegan Sun while Justine and the rest of the family remodel Russy's room. *Courtesy of MTV

Run
gets an offer for a royal suite at the Mohegan Sun. Russy and Diggy are outside playing catch and Russy decides he wants to change his room around. Diggy tells him "y'know you gotta ask daddy." Russy then goes to his mom and tells her what he's been thinking, she agrees and she tells him they have to tell daddy about it. lol!! Jo Jo is in the studio with his friends, Zach and Reggie, and Run comes in and wants to hang out and help with a track he loves and wants to be a part of the "Blackout" team. Jo Jo doesn't seem fond of that idea asking him "help out with what?" lol!!

Later on Justine tells Run that since him and Jo Jo have been bonding, he should take him to the Mohegan Sun, and also about Russy's request for a room makeover. He says that he'll take Jo Jo to the resort and tells her to handle the room makeover.

The
next day, Run and Jo Jo leave on they're "Rapper's Retreat" and Justine calls on Russ, Diggy, Angela and Vanessa, to help with Russy's room. At the Mohegan Sun, Run and Jo Jo golf and Jo Jo's struggles. lol!! Jo Jo hasn't figured out that Run is trying to bond with him. Run later tells him that he's inspired by him and likes the friends he chooses.

Th
e next day, at the house they're finishing up the room, when Justine gets a call from Run saying they're on their way home. Moments later Jo Jo bugs out because he left his cologne in the suite. Run tells him he'll buy him another bottle of cologne but Jo Jo insists that he wants that one. They make it home and Jo Jo marches to his room and Russy wants Run to check out his room. It's really nice.

Af
ter viewing the room, Justine wants to talk to Run about what happened and he tells her and she gives him advice on how he could've handled it better. Run goes and talks to Jo Jo and Jo Jo tells him he feels like he didn't respect his stuff. Run apologizes for maybe offending him and that he's proud of what he's accomplishing, not doing drugs, in college, making good music, etc.

Rev's Words of Wisdom: Does any part of your life need a makeover? Whether it's sprucing up an old room or maintaining a special relationship, often life's issues call for an overhaul. Make that change today.

Run's House (Season 4) | Ep. 4 | When Diggy Met Brittney | Diggy befriends Ja Rule's daughter.
*Run becomes obsessed with keeping hip-hop in the family when Diggy starts hanging out with Ja Rule's daughter Brittney, also Vanessa starts to understand the pressures of being a soap star. *Courtesy of MTV

While on th
e slip-n-slide, Run calls Diggy to the side to give him a hard time about his female friends. In New York, Vanessa goes over her lines with Lawrence St. Victor (Remy Boudreau) and she's practicing very well, looks confident, knows her script, then one of the producers comes into the room with revisions to the script. Lawrence says he's nervous and that makes Vanessa nervous too.

Back at the
house Diggy, Brittney and Katherine are chilling, eating snacks and Run comes through and starts hinting at Diggy trying to see if he likes Brittany and then Diggy asks the girls if they'd like to go to the theater (in-house). They leave and Run tells his wife, Justine, that Diggy likes Brittany and he's going to talk to Ja Rule and not to worry about it and be happy. Vanessa gets back home from rehearsal and is worried about her script and wants time to study, kicking Angela out of the room. Run talks to Justine about Diggy hanging with Brittany and thinks it's fly and says that the brides father has to pay for everything. Justine isn't going down with it, but Run says he's just joking.

The
next day in the gym (in-house) Diggy talks to Jo Jo about a problem he says he's having about their dad embarrassing him about hanging out with Brittany and Katherine. Jo Jo tells him that, he should just sit him down and tell him that he's just hanging with them because they're cool and fun and they're just friends.

La
ter while Diggy is talking to Brittany in the kitchen, Run comes by and notices that it's just them two talking and no Katherine. He calls Diggy to the side and tells him that he knows he likes Brittany. Diggy denies it and then Run says he'll ask her if she likes him. Diggy pleads with him and then Ja Rule comes by. Him and Run are outside talking and laughing and Run tells him that if it was to go down, the brides father has to pay for everything (they both get a big laugh out of it).

In
New York, Vanessa is practicing her lines and Rob Decina, Senior Casting Director of Guiding Light and Robby, a producer, come into the room and gives Vanessa another script that had been revised. Which gets her stressed more. At the house Diggy tells his mom what Brittany told him about his dad telling Ja about them getting married and Ja paying for it and Diggy feels he'll be made fun of. Run comes in and Justine and Diggy tell him that it's unfair about what he did. Jo Jo comes in and asks why everyone is gathered around. Diggy tells him why and Jo Jo says it might be a good look and Run adds "rap in the family". Diggy blows up, mad, yelling and storming off saying, Ja is coming by tomorrow and not to embarrass him again. Run then tells his Justine that he was only playing.

The next day
Vanessa's studying her lines in which she has to know today. Run tells her a story about '84, the first MTV VMAs they came to him with some rhymes that he had to know at the last minute. He remembers the lines and Run DMC opened the show. Encouraging her that she'll do well but, she seemed nervous when he mentioned the whole world will be watching.

Later at the
house Diggy and Brittany are trying to figure out what to do, when Run and Justine come in, making Diggy nervous, so he and Brittany try to bail, when Run says "don't leave, let me talk to you for a second." Justine says talk to him outside. They go outside and Run tells him that he has only been joking and that he's sorry. Later Vanessa tells her mom and dad that the directors loved her and the talk her and Run helped.

Rev's Words of Wisdom: Are you prepared for bumps in the road? A path without obstacles is a path without challenges. When you prepare for the unexpected, you're prepared for everything. Remember life's lessons come from the journey, not the destination.

DJ Dee Radio - November 7, 2007
Todays broadcast started off awfully, due to technical difficulties. I couldn't connect to the server. That was my fault because I moved some folders around and the encode wasn't where it had normally been and Bosslady was telling me it was an echo and I believe it was due to me moving too fast prepping my scratch routine. I corrected my errors and the show went on without anymore hitches. I always get terribly nervous until I get in my zone and that's something I guess I can fix, not sure. Due to the malfunctions I was able to stay on longer, so I stuck around for another hour.
